Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort Encourages Guests to “Book ‘Em”

Room Package Offers Guests a New “Hawaii Five-0 Experience”

HONOLULU (October 27, 2011) – The Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort is giving guests the chance to star in their own “Hawaii Five-0” experience with a new room package through August 2012.

The resort, which made frequent appearances throughout the series’ debut season in 2010-2011, is offering a new “Hawaii Five-0 Experience” package that allows guests to stay, dine and sip on everything “Hawaii Five-0.” The package includes:

 A five-night stay in a luxurious oceanview room  Hawaii Five-0 Season 1 DVD set  $50 dining credit for Tropics Bar & Grill  Two signature Hawaii Five-0 cocktails  50% off a Spirit of Aloha catamaran sail

The CBS crime drama debuted on September 20, 2010 as a reboot of the series with the same name that was created by Leonard Freeman, and was a hit in the 1960s and ‘70s. The new Hawaii Five-0 became one of CBS' top-rated programs. Through a production partnership between Hilton Worldwide and CBS, Hilton Hawaiian Village was featured in numerous episodes in the series’ first season in 2010 and early 2011. Areas of the hotel that were featured included the Rainbow Tower, the Rainbow Tower rooftop, Tropics Bar & Grill, the Grand Waikikian timeshare tower, Hau Tree Bar, and its famous Friday night fireworks over Waikiki Beach. The episode “Ko‘olauloa” aired on Monday, October 25, 2010 included the Tropics Bar & Grill and the resort’s famed Blue Hawaii cocktail. Later on that season on Monday, February 21, 2011, the episode “Loa Aloha” contained scenes filmed at the resort’s newest tower, the Grand Waikikian, and the popular beachside bar, Hau Tree Bar.

Bartender Rocky Nago of Tropics Bar & Grill also created two cocktails in honor of the new series. One is the “Hawaii Five-0,” and the other is the “Book ‘Em Danno.” Learn how to make these cocktails by logging onto Hilton’s YouTube site at www.youtube.com/Hilton.

The “Hawaii Five-0 Experience” package starts at $249 per night and can be booked by visiting www.hiltonhawaiianvillage.com or by calling 1-800-HILTONS and asking for rate code P5.
