Free Rabies Clinic

FREE RABIES CLINIC: The Dutchess County Department of Health in partnership with the Dutchess County SPCA will hold a rabies vaccination clinic for dogs, cats and ferrets that are at least three months of age on Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 8am- Noon. The clinic will be held at the FamilyPartnership Center, 29 N. Hamilton Street, City of Poughkeepsie 12601.

Dogs must be on leashes. Cats and ferrets must be in carriers. In order to receive a vaccination certificate that is good for three years, pet owners will need to provide proof of previous rabies vaccination for their pet(s); without proof, a vaccination certificate that is good for 1 year will be given. Distemper shots will not be offered at this clinic.

With verification of address, rabies vaccination is free to Dutchess County residents ($10.00 per pet for out of county residents). Microchips will be available to residents and non-residents for a fee of $35.00. For more information, please call the SPCA at 845- 452-7722 x403.
