I. Participants:

II. New Business:

A. Seminar and Golf Tournament:

Items to be resolved:

- Sondra will send Mike the bios and abstracts for David Childs, Chuck Blake and Mary Jean Yon. - Tony will verify the room set up with the Red Cross, including what version of power point is installed on the provided computer. - Tony will get coffee, creamer, cups, stirrers, sugar, etc. - Catalina will contact Pearce Barrett to be the moderator. The moderator’s seminar registration will be provided by the chapter. - Shanin will arrange lunch from the Honeybaked Ham. - Joe will get soft drinks, water, cups, ice, etc. - Catalina is set up as the event administrator, so she should receive a list of people registered periodically. She will compile list for sign in sheet and nametags. - Catalina will bring sponsors banner, memory stick, seminar flyers, and golfer goody bags. - Sondra will prepare and bring evaluation sheets. - Shanin will bring FWEA flyers to encourage new members.

1 B. Other:

- Sondra will work with Brian Houston on the incorporation of the chapter’s Facebook page to the FWEA Facebook page. - FWEA strategic planning period begins in November. The chapter has until December 31st to submit its plan. Changes can be made at the leadership conference, which Shanin will attend. - Tony will start filling out plan and communicate with the committee if he needs any help. - Funds from the Seminar/Golf Tournament will allow the chapter to pay for the Student Chapter membership of one faculty advisor and up to 17 students. A committee member needs to communicate with Dr. Gang Chen to inform him of this and get a list of interested students. - Mike will set up a meeting of the awards committee to select this year’s winner of the Thomas P. Smith Award. The ceremony will likely take place at the Front Porch once again, depending on the chapter funds after the seminar. Speaker options will be discuss by e-mail.
