SYNOPSIS: Deep in an underground facility a weapons demonstration is taking place. Attending the demonstration are, traditionalist GENERAL JEREMY IMRIE, lead scientist DR HELEN CASSA and the subject JOHN TREHERNE. Dr Cassa is excitedly leading the experiment, hoping that her newly developed technology will be used. Whilst General Imrie is expressing concern over the type of project, and not a bit confused when the identity of the test subject is revealed. The clueless victim of the human testing is JOHN TREHERNE, a soldier, with a history of military sabotage. The General realises that John is a turncoat, betraying MI6 and his country –with a history that involves The General’s dead son. Helen is delighted to have a human test subject for her new DNA-coded weapon and unleashes her new soldier, a DNA coded mosquito onto the test subject. As the mosquito buzzes, Helen and the General engage in a battle for dominance, whilst Treherne and the General in debate eachother’s ethics. The former claims that the General's moral compass is sodden with self- www.littlejadeproductions.com interest, while the General loathes Treherne for causing the death of his son. There is revenge in the air as the mosquito bites Treherne. Leaving him dying painfully on the floor. Dr Cassa now reveals this was not a weapons demonstration for the government, but a demonstration of power for the group Helen belongs to. General Imrie is to relay this back to his current government. Helen assures him that he will be hearing more from them soon. As he leaves Helen has secured a hair sample from which she can use his DNA. Later the General alone reading the paper in the park happens find a buzzing nearby. He remembers the mosquito, chilled to the bone. --- STAGE We are currently setting up for a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to help us fund this exciting project. We are going to be hoping a minimum of £5000 which will cover minimum expenses with a bit left for contingency and set build. The project is constantly evolving and there is room for an executive producer to come on board and help finance, or bring in-kind deals on kit/equipment.
