Peace, love and doing good things are a result not of religion, but a relationship with a living God who inspires us to do such things and to feel his peace.
Jesus said "peace I give to you, my peace I give to you, not as the world giveth, give I to you." John 14:26.
Religion is belief, doctrine. God wants more than belief, he wants RELATIONSHIP with us. He wants us to talk with him like we talk with each other, and listen for his answers.
A testimony of God's guidance:
Years ago I wanted to live in a certain city that I used to visit. I felt peace there as I rode my bike there from across the river where I lived. With hindsight I realize that I felt peace there because God was guiding me there.
One night I met someone there who told me "go to such and such a house (next to a particular store). I asked why, he said" I have no idea". I went there, knocked, and nobody was home. I went to the building next door, the super was in front, and I got an apt there and lived there 12 years. 10 years after I moved in, I got a car, so I needed a parking space. It turned out the parking lot next door was owned by the people who owned the first building that I had been told to go to. So I met them. The guy was a Christian, and invited me to his church. I ended up going, getting saved, and having him & another guy disciple me for several years-the house was filled with Christians from his church.
One day I was thinking about how I had originally been told to go to the Christian house, and ended up living next door and meeting them l0 years later. In the ensuing time, I had gotten involved in a painful sinful (sexual) relationship that ended when I got saved.
God spoke to me and said "You didn't need to go thru all that".

He meant, rather than have the pain drive me to seek Him, He had gently & clearly told me, before all that, where to go to find Him. (though I wasn't consciously looking for him at that time).
I could have avoided all the pain and gotten saved 10 years earlier, which was God's original plan! Since I didn't realize it was Him guiding me, and missed the cue, Plan A, He used plan B, which was to give me a car which gave me a second reason to connect with the house next door. Plan A was the easy way; plan B was the harder way. I ended up with legal problems from the bad relationship that I never would have had if I had done plan A.
If I had KNOWN that was GOD giving me the first message I would have pursued it. God guides all of us like this, but many miss his cues because at the time they don't realize it IS HIM speaking to them. I say prophetic things to people all the time that I KNOW are from God, but many don't realize, at the time, it is God speaking thru me; they think it is just an 'opinion'.
When I look back on my life, I see that God has sent l or 2 witnesses to warn me about a potential mistake. I believe God does this with everyone. God is closer to all of us than we realize. He uses our parents, teachers, friends, pastors etc. as well as random people.
This is one reason why we need a personal relationship with God and to be looking for his leading and direction; to avoid mistakes .
Jesus said "I come that you might have life abundantly." John 10:10
My favorite promise from Jesus is;
"Nothing is impossible with God" Matthew 17:20, Luke 1:37
If you can imagine something, God CAN do it. Remember that the inspiration usually comes from Him in the first place, though the bible also says to cast down vain imaginings that Don't come from God, but the other side.
We can ask for a "witness" IF SOMETHING IS FROM GOD and feel his spirit on us as a confirmation; a kind of tingly energy, or heat, love flooding thru us, or His peace. If we ask, "God is that you speaking thru someone or using them to do such and such" he will often answer by pouring out His spirit as a confirmation. 3
One time, in a jail, I prayed "God open the door" and within 1 second it opened. I was so dumbstruck by the rapidity of the answer that I hesitated & missed the opportunity to run out while I had the chance. Many times he has said to me, "don't doubt, don't hesitate". When we feel His spirit, faith rises up in us to believe something and act on it.
Often we need to do something in faith and then God reciprocates. Going to a church is a step of faith; then God meets us there. As we move, God moves.
When we sing to God, we invoke His spirit & can feel his presence. I had a powerful encounter with God during worship at a house church of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship, a non-demoninational charismatic church. I felt a spirit of love flooding thru me, coming from God, invoked by their praises. You can listen to Vineyard Music on youtube Their worship is powerful in invoking God's presence. Their music is used by many churches and has revolutionized worship in the evangelical churches over the last 20 years.

Get a King James bible (all other translations are corrupted-they leave out words and change them). You can feel God's presence, His peace as you read it. You will have experiences where your spirit can recognize that it is TRUE as you read it. One example of this is weeping as we read something. The weeping is a response from deep within our spirit that something is true, or is God communicating to us.
The bible says “Deep cries unto deep” Psalm 42:7
8 I had this reaction while reading Isaiah 53 which is the passage that explicitly describes Jesus as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
The first line says “to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?” I immediately started to weep, and heard in my mind, “to he who seeks his name”. This was God answering the question that the scripture posed.
Later lines of Isaiah 53 says “For the transgression of my people he was stricken....my righteous servant shall justify many, for he shall bear their sins.”
God speaks to us as we read his word. His spirit abides in it.

The more modern translations like the NIV, NRSV & others are corrupted. Important scriptures and parts of scriptures are missing, and many words are changed which make the original meaning less clear. Hence they lack spiritual authority and God's presence is not on them the same way. They mislead people.
The NIV uses the word ‘angels’ instead of “Holy Angels”. This is a problem. Not all angels are Holy, or from God. The book of Isaiah talks about how Lucifer or the devil, was thrown out of Heaven, taking l/3 of the angels with him, to be on the earth. They do not serve God, but Lucifer. They deceive people. The devil is a liar and father of all lies. Praying for angels to help us rather than Holy Angels can invite answers from these fallen angels, or demons. I know this from experience. God is precise in his words for a reason. Sloppy language can be dangerous.
One common new age lie is that there is no hell, and that all spirits are good. This is not true.
The inspiration behind these other translations is the devil, not God. They are new age bible translations.
Many new age books say that the bible has been mistranslated, and offer supposed messages from God that are corrections to it. It is a hallmark of new age books that 5 the bible is mistranslated and misleading. They are half right – since many of the bible translations are inspired by the same lying spirits behind the new age books. But the Holy Spirit which is the spirit of Truth, can tell us what to trust.
I believe in the KING JAMES because God spoke to me about the bible and gave me a witness to it.
I was living in a church for 2 years, worshipping and praying, playing the piano alone at night. God had healed me and given me a loud singing voice which I did not previously have, while worshipping in the name of Jesus.
A rabbi had said to me “you’re wrong about Jesus being the messiah- God answers your prayers since you’re a Jew”. So I tested my faith in Jesus.
For 2 weeks, I only sang to “Adonai, God of Abraham Isaac & Jacob” the God of the Jews, without singing Jesus or Yeshua (his Hebrew name, which means “salvation”)
I felt the same presence of God on me as I had while singing to Jesus previously, and God said to me, repeatedly,
“Don’t Deny the name of my Son (JESUS) and “MY WORD IS TRUE”
I knew the second part meant the bible, which is why I trust it. But the Holy Spirit has also shown me the truth about these new age false translations. The devil makes counterfeits of everything of God. God has been showing me for years that there are counterfeit spirits which appear in churches, which are not the Holy Spirit. Many Christians do not have the discernment to know the difference.
There is a gift of “discerning of spirits” in the New Testament. 1 Corinthians 12:10 I prayed for it, which is why I have that discernment. Everyone should pray for it, I would say. It is vital to our spiritual life to not be deceived.
God heals us and guides us and gives solutions to our problems when we recognize that it IS Him leading us, often thru other people's words, or

God talks to all of us in our thoughts through the Holy Spirit.
Thoughts come from the spiritual realm. The word “inspiration” means “a spirit goes into it”. Our conscience is God.
The book of James ch 3 says there is wisdom from above and wisdom from below.
“The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”James 3:17
Wisdom from below is earthly, sensual, devlish. 3:15
We need to learn to discern the difference between God's spirit and demonic spirits talking to us.
There are things we need to address in our behavior and environment that can give an opening for demonic spirits rather than God.
Unrepentant sin is an opening for demonic oppression.
It is important that we pray in an environment where God's spirit has authority rather than others, otherwise our prayers can be contaminated and we can be misled by other spirits.
Openings for other spirits include all drugs which affect the mind, including caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, pot, lsd etc & all psych meds. Psych meds cause mental illness rather than cure it because they are openings for demonic spirits.
All music, books, art are "inspired" by spirits and transmit those spirits when we listen, read, etc. Even just having them around us is an opening for those spirits to 7 be around us. When they are removed, the spirits leave and our thoughts, feelings change.
Demonic spirits can cause mental or physical illness. To be physically healed, we need to remove whatever is in our environment that may be an opening for demonic influences.
If we have unrepentant sin, we need to repent of it. In order to be healed, we need to repent of any sin.
I had a sexual disease that I got after sleeping with someone. I repented of it, and a heat went through my whole body. I knew God healed me. He spoke to me, saying, “don’t do it again, or it will come back.” I didn’t, and it didn’t. That was 20 years ago. I also had proved that I was healed by drinking a can of cocoa, since I knew that chocolate usually triggered an outbreak of it, but since nothing happened, I knew I was completely healed.
There is no disease that is too hard for God to heal. Nothing is impossible with God.
All mental and physical illnesses are caused by demonic spirits whose assignments are the names of those diseases. Jesus rebuked them & gave his followers authority to do it.
He healed multitudes of people as a testimony to who he was, the savior, and the Holy Spirit heals us when we pray in Jesus name, for the same reason, as a testimony to the truth of Jesus being the savior. His name has authority over the demonic spirits.
Things that need to be assessed for demonic influences include: music, art, books, symbols, occult objects (all of which are openings for demonic spirits and need to be renounced in Jesus name & removed; they bring curses).
Jewish stars are actually occult and are openings for lying spirits.
Peace signs are also occult & an opening for demonic spirits.

The Holy Spirit has been on the earth for 2,000 years, since Jesus sent it from Heaven, to speak with us, guide us and comfort us. It teaches us.
Jesus said “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26
This is one reason it is important to read the bible: God often speaks to us in his own words, from the bible, which the Holy Spirit brings back to remembrance.
God also says other things that are not directly in the bible. But it is important to know the bible so that we can discern if something contradicts it. God does not contradict his written word. The bible was given to us as a standard to judge other spirits to know if they are from God or a lying demonic spirit. If we know the bible we will less easily be fooled.
The apostle Paul warned that there would be false prophets coming who would preach a different Jesus. The new age movement, which is old, not new, is full of lying spirits which contradict the bible, and saying things which are lie, like, Hell is not real. 9
The new age translations such as the NIV (inspired by lying spirits) change words to obscure the reality of Hell, by calling it Hades, which is less clear. Hence people reading those translations are less clear that Hell exists. This is by design. The devil has infiltrated every man-made institute and been behind false bible translations, to mislead mankind about the truth.
I studied new age books for 10 years before becoming a Christian. I did not have the discernment to know what was true or false, because I had not yet studied the bible. It would have been better to read the bible first, to have a standard by which to judge the other books.
20 years ago, when I first started going to church and reading the bible, some Mormons came to visit offering me a Book of Mormon, which they claim is “another testament to Jesus Christ”. I prayed to God in my mind as they were sitting there, asking “what should I do?” and I heard him say back to me “Read the bible first”.
I know this was God. That is what I did. When I finally read the book of Mormon, I noticed that an angel by the name of Mor-- is important in their theology – he supposedly provided plates to Joseph Smith. This was a red flag for me, since I recognized the same name from many other new age books. I realized that the same false spirit in the other new age books, was behind the book of Mormon.
Mormon theology is different than Christian theology. It is counterfeit Christianity. It seems that every cult has something to contribute to humanity, though. The Mormons understand consecration better than most Christian churches. They don’t drink caffeine, smoke or drink. I have the same witness from the Holy Spirit about this. They understand that drugs are an opening for unclean spirits, but so is false theology.
I discern that there are lying spirits involved with the Book of Mormon and I would not have it around me. It is an opening for lying spirits. The same with all new age books.
When I first became a Christian, several older Christians told me the same thing; get rid of your new age books. When I finally did, there was more mental peace, less demonic oppression around me, and my chest opened up and I started to have a singing voice that I did not have before.
8 Having the new age books was a spiritual opening for demonic spirits, counterfeit spirits, to answer my prayers. Prayers used to get answered in twos- from God and the other side. When I got rid of the new age books, this stopped.
Many new age books have names of angels, but they are fallen angels, not Holy Angels.

God talks to us in dreams.
The bible says God speaks to us in dreams and visions. Job 33:15
Joel 2:28 says
“It will come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions”.
God often answers prayers in dreams.
This happened to me when I first asked Him if it was true that Jesus is the messiah. I had a dream where I was being shown 2 scriptures: Jeremiah 31:31 and Zecharia 12-14.
Jeremiah 31:31 talks about a new covenant that God will make with the Jews, where he will forgive their sins.
Jesus' sacrifice on the cross was the final atonement for the sins of makind, and God’s provision to mankind to forgive our sins. 11
“Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord:
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts, and will be their God, and they shall be my people…for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Jer 31:31-34
He is talking about being BORN AGAIN, being Filled with the Holy Spirit, and having our sins forgiven by the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Jesus’ Hebrew name YESHUA means SALVATION.
It is only through faith in him that we can go to Heaven.
Jesus said
“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3
“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.” John 3:5
Being Born again means being Filled with the Holy Spirit.
To be saved we need to repent of our sins, accept Jesus as Messiah, and pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit. And be baptized in Jesus name. When we are baptized, our sins are washed away. The weight of our sins lifts off of us. We feel lighter.
Also pray for the Baptism of the H oly Spirit as evidenced by talking in tongues. Jesus called it Power from on High. It is power to pray, strengthen our spirit to resist sin, hear from God. Many kinds of prayers require tongues, in my experience.

Atheist psychiatry falsely calls anyone with spiritual beliefs or experiences schizophrenic, a nonsense label. They are trained to think that hearing voices is an auditory hallucination i.e. imaginary, BUT they are real – they are Demons or God! God talks to everyone in our thoughts by the Holy Spirit which has been on earth for 2000 years since Jesus sent it from Heaven. It is the Spirit of Truth.
