General Understanding ( RI.K.2 )With prompting and support, identify the main topic and retell key details of a text. ● What is the main topic of Will you Push or Pull? Pushing or pulling are options to move the wagon. ● Retell the difference between pushing and pulling the wagon. Pushing moves an object from the back of wagon, and pulling an object is moved by being in front.

Why did the author select the picture for this text? The title is Will You Push or Pull? It is the title because it is in bold, capital letters and at the top of the page. It also tells what the text will be about. The author selected the picture because the text is about a red wagon.

The text supports this by stating that you would be in front or back of the wagon.
