When someone new signs up under me as an Independent Product Consultant or Preferred Member, I always touch base with them via email or phone. (Unless I’ve already had in-person contact—that is even better!)

I like to send them a copy of this letter AND I also attach a PDF copy of the LIVE Guide.

I also go ahead and add them to our team Facebook group right away. You can do this by selecting the “Invite by Email” option in the right-hand sidebar and typing in their email address. This allows you to invite anyone to the group—regardless of whether or not you are Facebook friends with them.

It’s important to me that new members know I am there to support them right from the beginning.

This is also the perfect time to find out if they are interested in the business building aspect of doTERRA (only applicable to IPCs)—this will help you in the placement process and help you to determine if you should move them to a different place on your team around.

(If you are enrolling people in-person—you may or may not need all the info in this email, so feel free to adjust it to your needs)

Hi ______, I saw that you joined my doTERRA team with an IPC/wholesale account and I wanted to say welcome! I'm so excited for you to dive into the world of doTERRA essential oils--I know they have been life-changing for me!

First off, I want to invite you to visit our team training website. It has all the information you need to start your doTERRA journey off right. www.empoweredhealthteam.com (password: iloveoils) The Getting Started tab is a good place to start.

I've also sent you an invite to our private doTERRA team Facebook page. It's the best place to ask questions, get support, and meet other team members.

Also, part of the reason I'm writing you is to find out how I can best support you in your journey with oils.

Are you interested in primarily just using the oils for yourself and your family, or are you interested in the business opportunity as well? Either way is 100% cool with me--but knowing ahead of time helps me to make sure you have the team leaders and resources that you need.
