AGREEMENTS

Agreement No. 1 To approve the final report of the first regular meeting of the Executive Committee, contained in document CIM/CD/doc.10/07.

Agreement No. 2 To request that the Executive Secretary coordinate with the Permanent Council in the formation of the working group under operative paragraph 2 of resolution AG/RES. 2322 (XXXVII-O/07), “Inter-American Year of Women.”

Agreement No. 3 To request that the President to send the principal delegates a reminder note on the transmittal of information on the celebration of 2010 as the Inter-American Year of Women, requesting that they send their proposals on the matter to the Permanent Secretariat by January 15, 2008, so that they may be sent to the working group to be formed within the Permanent Council and so that preparations may begin for the celebration in each of the member states.

Agreement No. 4 To request that the Executive Secretary, in coordination with the OAS Department of External Relations, convene a meeting of permanent observers and other donors to seek resources in support of the sustainability of the Mechanism for Follow-up on Implementation of the Convention of Belém do Pará (MESECVI).

Agreement No. 5 To request that the OAS Department of External Relations create a gender window to channel permanent observer and donor resources toward funding the implementation of the CIM’s biennial work program. - 4 -

Agreement No. 6 To request that the President send to all principal delegates the preliminary draft agenda of the Thirty-fourth Assembly of Delegates of the CIM (CIM/CD/doc.16/07 rev. 1) so they may issue their proposals and comments by January 15, 2008, and the draft agenda may be approved at the next regular meeting of the Executive Committee.

Agreement No. 7 To approve the budgetary execution through October 31, 2007, as set forth in CIM/CD/doc.15/07.
