August 2016 PRACTICAL EXERCISE X Consolidated Air Massing and Labeling Scheme (CAMALS)
OBJECTIVE: This practical exercise is designed to test your general knowledge of being a Postal Supervisor in relation to mail transportation and routing. It also tests your ability to use the CAMALS document.
CONDITION: Given the following:
1. No. 2 lead pencils 2. Computer 3. Internet Access 4. Consolidated Air Massing and Labeling Scheme (CAMALS) 5. DoD 4525.6-M Postal Manual
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Ensure that your name, class number, start and finish time, and date are on the test booklet.
2. This booklet contains 12 situations and questions. You will have 60 minutes to complete this examination.
3. You MUST achieve an 80% to pass this practical exercise. Make all responses clear and legible in the test booklet. Read each situation carefully but move on so that all situations may be answered in the time allotted. If you make a mistake or if you have to change an answer in the booklet, erase completely and then write in the correct information.
4. Upon completion of this exercise clean your area, and bring your practical exercise booklet and any other issued exercise material to the instructor. You will receive further guidance at that time.
