AWARDS INFORMATION

Please read the following information to determine if you are eligible for an Award/Recognition Certificate: 1. Annual awards/Recognition Certificates are open to Labrador Retrievers owned or co-owned by WLRC members in good standing. 2. Awards/Certificates are given for accomplishments earned during the previous year only. (January 1 – December 31) 3. To be eligible for an Award/Certificate, a club member must have attended at least three meetings in the respective year, if such membership dates from May 1st of the previous year. 4. Engraved awards are offered for any AKC Title, LRC Working Certificate and WLRC Working Certificate or Advanced Working Certificate. Certificates of Recognition are offered for any and all accomplishments deemed of particular interest. 5. A Certificate of Recognition and plate will also be awarded to the breeder/breeders of a dog if they have at least 3 dogs receiving an award (see #4 above) and if the breeder(s) are club members in good standing. 6. A plaque will be given to an owner/co-owner upon their first dog’s first awards. Subsequent awards earned by the first dog and other dogs will be added to the initial plaque. 7. In the matter of co-ownership, both owner and co-owner(s) will receive an award if they are club members in good standing. 8. Sufficient proof of title/certificate MUST accompany application information.

2. If you have an existing plaque, send one plate for each dog that earned awards. The dog’s registered name and titles (abbreviations) earned (January 1 – December 31) and the year will be engraved on the plate.

3. If you need a plaque please let me know as soon as possible.

4. Send proof of Titles/Certificates with the Awards Application form

5. Send everything to me or bring to a club meeting from now until March. The deadline is March 31st.
