River Oaks Academy’s mission is to empower scholars to reach their maximum potential to become successful and competitive within the global community “ROA: This is OUR Moment!” Coats and Lost and Found We have a plethora of coats, sweaters, jackets, etc… in our Lost and Found! It is hard to believe that these items are not being missed at home! We are going to keep them until the second week of December, December 11th. They will be put out during the PTA Holiday Program for you to peruse and see if any of these items belong to your scholar. After that date we will take them to Goodwill to donate. PLEASE put your child’s From The Principal name in the label of their belongings so we can get it back to them should they be left lying around. Thank you for helping us This year has truly flown by, and we have worked to out with this. And remember, December 11th is the last date to prepare scholars for the academic challenges they will face in recover lost items! the coming months. We want to encourage parents to please see that your scholars are in school each and every day, all day. If they are not here, they can’t learn. If they don’t learn, they can’t pass assessments at the end of the year. If they don’t pass assessments, they don’t have a good grasp on the subject matter needed for future successes. If they aren’t successful, that impacts their future as adults. We want every ROA scholar to be successful and that takes all of us working toward that Holiday Parties goal on a daily basis. Congratulations!!!!! Bulldog Blast Family Learning Expo! We hear it all the time: “That’s not the way I did math when I was in school! I don’t know how to do this! What do you mean, reference the text? Infer what?
