Description: The $2,500 Graduation Incentive Grant is designed to encourage continuing undergraduate IUPUI students towards the completion of their first undergraduate degree by August 2013 by providing funding to support full-time enrollment. (This grant may be received for up to two semesters if funding continues to be available). *The target population this grant is intended to serve is students with unmet financial need who are enrolled part time or were previously enrolled part time, who wish to enroll full time so they can complete their degree within 6 years of their start date (in other words, students who have been continuously enrolled fulltime and are already on track to graduate on-time are not eligible to apply).
Eligibility Requirements: Priority will be given to students who meet the following criteria: Student must be a rising/current senior IUPUI undergraduate student previously enrolled at least half-time for 2011-2012 academic year Student will enroll full-time for Spring 2012 Student must be in good academic standing with the university Priority will be given to students who: Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher Have 30 credit hours or less left to complete their undergraduate degree at IUPUI Could graduate within one academic year if they began attending fulltime Student must have financial need with a FAFSA on file at IUPUI (EFC of $5,000 or less preferred) Student must have this form completed by an academic advisor to provide verification of the academic plan leading to an expected graduation date no later than August, 2013
Award Deadline: Application reviews will begin on December 15th, 2011 and will continue until funding is exhausted.
Award Selection Process: Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis by the IUPUI Office of Student Scholarships selection committee.
