Building Policy Regarding Parties If you are a room parent helping out with the classroom parties or a parent who would like to come in and help out with the party, do not bring younger siblings with you. This is a special day for your school age child and when younger siblings are in the mix, it is sometimes distracting. Also, please keep in mind that if you choose to take your student home early after a party or award ceremony, it will count against their attendance. Thank you. Cold Hands ~ Warm Hearts (Donations due in by December 11 th ) The holiday season is just around the corner & to celebrate this time of giving, Harvest Ridge Created ‘Cold Hands ~ Warm Hearts’ holiday help program. There is a snowman located in our lobby & we need your help to surround it with snowflakes. In order to put a snowflake by the snowman, purchase a gift card & give it to Mrs. Golden, the receptionist at the lobby desk. She will then give you a snowflake to write your name on and put it beside the snowman. Anyone, including students, may bring in gift cards. It is important during this time to help those who are less fortunate & to also be recognized for the spirit of giving. We will be sharing these gift cards with families in our Harvest Ridge community who may need a little extra help in making this holiday season brighter for their families. We will be accepting gift cards of any value from $5.00 on up. We ask that you purchase gift cards from Kohl’s, Target, Toys-r-Us, Wal- Mart or any area grocery store. Please be sure to write the amount on the gift card. Gift cards may be donated through December 11th. Thank you for recognizing the true meaning of the season & giving what you can. Happy Holidays!
