Guidelines for rental of FRA Branch 310 Building:

The Fleet Reserve Association Branch 310 in Silverdale, WA is a congressionally chartered, non-profit organization. Rentals may be made to any group or function whose purpose, goals, or ideals is consistent with the FRA ideals. All persons wishing to reserve the use of the building must sign this contract. Please remember that your signature on this contract constitutes responsibility for the attendees of your function, as well as any third parties you might engage to service your function. FRA meetings and associated activities will at all times take precedence over any other activities. These meetings occur the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 P.M. You must check the Web-site calendar at http://www.frabranch310.org/branch-310-calendar before you schedule an event to ensure no one else is already scheduled. Fee Schedule 1. Rentals are for rooms specified on the event information sheet only. 2. Occupancy shall not exceed the number specified for the building. 3. All Day rental will be $200.00 or $25.00 per hour (minimum of 4 hours). Under Branch 310 policy, a deposit of $50.00 is required, for key and cleaning. If you return the key and leave the building as clean as you found it, the entire deposit will be returned. There will be a $25.00 fee for loss of rental KEY and $25.00 for cleaning. The person renting the hall will be given a key to the front door and may not be reproduced without written permission from an FRA Officer of the Board. 4. The fee schedule for building usage is applicable to co-sponsored usage, where the event generates revenue. The renters are responsible for assuring that the building use fees are paid. 5. For reoccurring events, payment is due monthly by the beginning of each month in which events have occurred. 6. If the outside area of the building is to be used for BBQ's Games, Cap Fire, etc.; it must be left in clean and presentable conditions. 7. Failure to pay rental payments in accordance with these terms will be reviewed on a case by case basis and could result in loss of building use.

Decorations 1. Only table top and free standing decorations are permitted. All candles must be contained in a protective device, such as a glass dish or any other protective candle holder, must be approved by a Branch 310 member. This is a check for safety only. 2. No nails, tacks, screws, staples, or paint damaging tape may be used on the walls or ceilings. Any modifications to the building, its electrical system, carpeting, walls, furnishings or modifications to exterior building, which includes the property in which said building resides, will not be allowed. If any modification to the above is requested by renter, a shipmate will bring forth New Business at the next scheduled FRA meeting.

Agreement Review Long term activity agreements are to be reviewed by the Branch 310 membership on a Bi-Annual, every six months. The Secretary/Treasurer will enter this Bi-Annual review into the Branch 310 minutes and read to membership at the next scheduled meeting.

Agreement Termination For long term or short term reoccurring events, this agreement may be terminated without cause by either party with nothing less than a Thirty day (30) notice. All fees will be paid for the term of the agreement through the end of use. Building Security and Building Regulations 1. Please review this agreement information thoroughly prior to your function and when you are ready to leave the building at the end of your function. a. Smoking is not permitted inside the Building at 11281 Old Frontier Rd NW Silverdale WA. 98383. b. Securing the building is the responsibility of the signed renter. The duties will include the following: 1. Returning all furniture and equipment to found proper storage area. 2. Returning the furnace settings to original found state. 3. Closing and securing windows; to include closing of blinds. 4. Unplugging of the kitchen coffee pot, hot plate, etc. 5. Turning off all lights. 6. The door locking mechanism is to be set back to original state. The doors will be locked secure by closing the door. The doors lock from the inside and will require a key to reinter the premises. c. You will need cell phones to communicate at the said premises. There are no land lines. d. Clean up spill immediately to prevent accidents. Mops and brooms available. e. Ensure that all stoves, coffee makers, etc. are turned off. f. Turn off water taps and check for running water. g. Turn off lights, inside and outside. h. Sweep kitchen and dining room floors and pick up lounge area if used. i. DO NOT leave ANYTHING belonging to renter in the refrigerator/freezer. j. Wash the dishes you use and clean the kitchen sink. k. Take all trash upon leaving the building. Don't leave it for the FRA to dispose of. l. Make sure all windows are shut and secured. m. You are not authorized to be in the building outside of hours you have scheduled. n. All hours scheduled in advance.

Emergencies: Any/all problems will be explained to Branch 310 President and/or Branch 310 Secretary/Treasurer. Depending on common sense and severity of the incident, correspondence and response will be evaluated on a case by case incident. In such a case where emergency response is required, communications to the first responders shall be made. The recall names and phone numbers are posted on the front door entrance to Branch 310. Being a good neighbor: FRA Branch 310 is located in a residential but remote area of Kitsap County. We ask you to be respectful of the residents on either side of our branch. Music may be muffled somewhat by the walls but could pose a problem if amplified to volumes annoying to others if played outside. By law, noise which includes music, must be reduced significantly by 2200 (10:00 P.M.) on weeknights and 2300 (11:00 P.M.) on weekends. If under aged adults are present, there shall be no alcohol shared with minors. If small children are present, adult supervision will be administered for the children’s safety.

LIABILITY EXCLUSION:

As users of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch #310, we agree to protect, indemnify, and hold harmless the FRA #310 from any and all cost, damages, or expense arising out of or from any accident, or other occurrence on these premises causing injury to any person or property. Also will protect, indemnify and hold harmless FRA #310 from any and all claims, cost or expenses arising from any failure of the user in any respect to comply with and perform all requirements and provisions agreed to and required by law and ordinance during the period of use.

Confirmation and signature I have read and understand the Rental guidelines and rules as stated above. As the person taking responsibility of the FRA Branch 310 facilities, on the dates indicated, I agree to abide by the conditions put forth.
