ListServes

A listserve is an automated bulletin board that sends email notices to you. Here’s how it works: someone with a job opening sends the notice to “The List”. The List then sends an automated email to everyone who has “subscribed” or signed up for the list. There several of these in the wildlife field. Subscribe to them all! Even if you are not actively seeking a job, they tell you what kind of skills the job market seeks, where the jobs are, what they pay, and how to apply.
