Assessment Committee for Department of Teacher Education and Human Performance (September, 2000 – June, 2002) Lead on development of departmental self-assessment database that measured and analyzed the department’s meeting its stated mission, as well as the INTASC and NCATE standards.
Minot State Club of Physical Education (MSCOPE) faculty advisor (September, 2000 – June, 2002). This very active, fifty-member club participates in several community outreach programs specific to physical activity and well being for children and adults alike. Each semester a Two-day Fitness Fun Day was organized and conducted at Minot state University. Over 500 children participated on each of the two days. efforts provided for members to attend state, district and national conventions. An average of 10 members of MSCOPE have attended the National AAHPERD Convention for the past 6 years. On several occasions these students have been involved in conference presentations. Many of the students have been to three or more conventions as undergraduates.
