1. Call to Order (4:30 pm)

2. Roll Call (sign roll)

3. Approval of Minutes

4. Report of the Treasurer

 Current Budget: $2,875.64

 Expenses for the month: $1,326.00

5. Report of the President

 Lamp of Learning: September 30

o Fundraising: t-shirts, lab value cards, flowers, clipboards etc.

o Flowers

. Will Check out with Davis Wholesale for price

o Attire: Professional

o Will be finding out more at September meeting about Lamp of Learning and SNA requirements

 Convention: October 11-12, 2013

o Renaissance Convention Center/Hotel

o Final count going

. 12 will be going from SNA 2 o Carpool vs. hotel

. Costs will be compared for hotel for a night and the gas to drive there and back for two days and will be discussed at September meeting

o Awards booklet

. Will apply for Awards when the booklet is updated

o Student costs (TBA)

. Registration Fee will be paid partially by the SNA, September meeting will have details on amount needed to be paid

 General meeting: Date?

o Mentor Orientation with Dr. Langston on September 16th from 12:30-1:00 pm

o General Meeting on 9/18 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm

. Include the Mentor/Mentee Social during the General Meeting

o Speakers

. Talk about different activities

. Talk about Pre-mentor program with the nursing students

o Flyer

6. Committee Reports

 Everyone please continue to work on projects for the fall

o Address any issues

 Breakthrough to Nursing Class visits

 Renew membership if expired

o Application and $45 are due

 Communication

7. Unfinished business 3  Clipboard Order Forms due on 9/5

o Need to have order form and money turned into Dr. Langston or a class rep

 Shirts are being reordered to replenish those that are out
