1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A HOUSE RESOLUTION 10 11 TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR LYNDEY RITZ ZWING OF 12 MYRTLE BEACH ON RECEIVING THE 2012 COMPLEAT 13 LAWYER BRONZE MEDALLION AWARD, GRANTED 14 ANNUALLY BY THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA 15 SCHOOL OF LAW ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, AND TO 16 CONGRATULATE HER ON HER RECENT GRADUATION 17 FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA SCHOOL 18 OF LAW. 19 20 Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is pleased 21 to learn that Lyndey Ritz Zwing of Myrtle Beach has received the 22 2012 Compleat Lawyer Bronze Medallion Award, granted 23 annually by the University of South Carolina (USC) School of 24 Law Alumni Association, and that she received her juris doctor 25 degree cum laude from the USC School of Law on May 4, 2012; 26 and 27 28 Whereas, the only award announced at USC School of Law 29 commencement exercises, the Compleat Lawyer Bronze Medallion 30 Award is given to three graduating seniors who through their 31 performance in law school and their relationships with students 32 and professors have demonstrated their potential to be outstanding 33 attorneys. Award recipients must possess the highest standards of 34 ethics, integrity, and professionalism; and 35 36 Whereas, during her studies at the USC School of Law, Lyndey 37 Ritz Zwing served as editorinchief of the South Carolina Journal 38 of International Law & Business. In addition, she served with the 39 John Belton O’Neall Inn of Court, South Carolina Blue Ribbon 40 Committee on Shoreline Management, Student Bar Association, 41 Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity, Women in Law, and as BARBRI 42 Head Student Representative; and

[5267] 1 1 Whereas, a 2009 graduate of Furman University, Ms. Zwing, 2 daughter of Ron and Sharlene Zwing of Myrtle Beach, will join the 3 Columbia law firm Ellis Lawhorne & Sims this summer, where 4 she will work on business litigation; and 5 6 Whereas, the House of Representatives takes great pleasure in 7 saluting Lyndey Ritz Zwing on receiving her diploma and the 8 prestigious Compleat Lawyer Bronze Medallion Award for 2012 9 from the USC School of Law. The members wish her all the best 10 as she inaugurates her professional legal career. Now, therefore, 11 12 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives: 13 14 That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, 15 by this resolution, recognize and honor Lyndey Ritz Zwing of 16 Myrtle Beach on receiving the 2012 Compleat Lawyer Bronze 17 Medallion Award, granted annually by the University of South 18 Carolina School of Law Alumni Association, and congratulate her 19 on her recent graduation from the University of South Carolina 20 School of Law. 21 22 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be provided to 23 Lyndey Ritz Zwing. 24 XX 25
