Gouldsboro Area Foundation 2017 Calendar of Events

Tuesday March 28 - GAF meets at 7PM at Station. Discuss Purse Bingo. All meetings are on last Tuesday of month (except Oct. 24) at 7 PM.

Sunday April 2 – Designer Purse Bingo Doors open at Fire Hall 11:00 AM; Play begins at 1 PM. Tickets: $20 in advance; $25 at the door. Refreshments available. Call Diane Jones at 842-1257 or Jeanne Kurash at 842-6192.

Saturday April 29 - Station opens. Open every Saturday 10 AM to 2 PM.

Saturday May 6 - Paint & Sip. 1 PM at the Station. Meet local artist Diane Tice (848- 2446) and enjoy a painting lesson: $25 per person includes supplies and wine.

Saturday May 13 – Bake Sale & Plant Sale. Museum-at-the-Station.

Saturday May 20 - Steamtown Scout Train arrives about 12:30 PM. Jay Gould will be present, games for children; food and drinks available for purchase.

Monday June 5 - Golf Tournament Registration at 8 AM, Shotgun start at 9 AM, Awards, Dinner & Prizes. Call Tom Jones at 842-1257 or Wayne Moreau at 570-213-2355 for details.

Saturday June 17 - Steamtown Scout Train arrives about 12:30 PM. Jay Gould will be present, games for children; food and drinks available for purchase.

Saturday September 30 "Saturday Night at the Races". Doors open at 6:00 PM; Post time 7:00 PM. Tickets TBD. Call Diane Jones at 842-1257 or Diane Tice at 848-2446.

Tuesday October 24 - Regular meeting of GAF at 7 PM at the Station.

Sunday October 29 - Steamtown excursion tour to Ghouls-boro. Games for children; food and drinks available for purchase.

Tuesday October 31 - Night of the Dancing Witches at the Station. Begins at twilight (Whoohoo!). Cider and treats served to young and old alike. Enjoy the witches’ antics at the train station. Saturday November 26- Holiday Train to arrive at 2:30 PM. Santa will be there along with Dickens' characters and there will be homemade foods and goodies.

Saturday December 2 - Breakfast with Santa at the Fire Hall. Starts at 9 AM with a free pancake breakfast. Games and activities. Also at 2:30 PM, a Holiday Train from Christmas Past with Santa and Dickens' characters. There will be homemade foods and goodies.

Sunday December 3 - At 2:30 PM, a Holiday Train from Christmas Past with Santa and Dickens' characters. There will be homemade foods and goodies.

Saturday December 9 – Winter Festival Train with Santa will arrive at 2:30 PM. There will be homemade foods and goodies.

Sunday December 10 - Winter Festival Train with Santa will arrive at 2:30 PM. There will be homemade foods and goodies. The Gouldsboro Area Foundation headquarters and manages the Gouldsboro Train Station. A Museum is operated by the Gouldsboro Historical Society and offers historical exhibitions, GAF gift shop and a full-service events room with rest rooms, kitchen and seating for 60 that is available for rent. Call Diane Tice at 848-2446 for details.
