Work Instruction ESS Display-Edit Personal, Address Functional Area: Employee Self Service (ESS) Information

Purpose ESS

Use this procedure to verify your personal data and verify/edit your address information in the UC Flex system.

Helpful Hints

 The R/O/C column in the field description tables below defines whether the field is required (R), optional (O), or conditional (C).  On certain screens you may have to scroll to view some data entry fields  If you find your personal data to be incorrect, please call the Human Resources Service Center at 513 556-6381.

Procedure

1. Log on to UC Flex at www.ucflex.uc.edu

Welcome - UCFlex Enterprise Portal - Internet Explorer

2. Click Employee Self-Service .

3. Click Personal Information .

Personal Information

4. Click Personal Profile .

Review Personal Data. If changes need to be made contact HR 556-6381.

5. Click the Addresses Edit button .

Edit Permanent residence

6. As required, complete/review the following fields:

Field R/O/C Description

C/O: Optional An alternate contact address. Example: 223 Test Street

House Number And Required Street name and number. Street: Example: 123 Test Street

City: Required City where the address is located. Example: Cincinnati

County: Optional County where House Number And Street are located. Example: Hamilton

State: Required State where the address is located. Example: Ohio

Field R/O/C Description

Zip Code: Required A five or nine digit code used to reference a delivery area. Example: 45248-1111

Telephone: Optional contact phone number. Example: 513-513-5113

Personal Email: Optional Contact email address. Example: [email protected]

7. Click Valid as of Today to have the changes take effective immediately.

Click Valid From and enter a date for when the changes are to take effect.

8. Scroll down to view more of the screen.

9. Click the Save and Back button .

Click Save to save any data and remain on this screen.

10. Click the Log off button .

It's very important to logoff before closing the browser window. Your session could hang or remain open.

11. Click Yes .

Result

You have verify/edit your personal data and address information.
