Sandalwood Estates Lake Association Quarterly Meeting

Second quarterly meeting was held on Wednesday September 8, 2004.

In attendance were Brian Ernst, Tina Retting, Gloria Goshko, Sue Tepper and Josephine Malecki.

At this meeting it was announced the Greg DeMilio, Vice President would be re-locating with his family and has resigned.

Items discussed: Trees on the berm Thanks to Brian Ernst and Ted Malecki for taking of the newly planted trees. Watering 14 trees takes about 4.5 hours. So far all trees are looking good.

Common Areas The burying of the sump pump drains project overall went well. Landscaper will be out to re-seed some areas in the new few weeks.

A contract has been signed to treat the algae in 2005 at a cost of $350 per treatment. We anticipate the need of five (5) treatments. This cost will be reflected in the 2005 budget.

Hybrid carp will be introduced to the lake the middle of October. These fish will help to control - not eliminate the water vegetation. Vegetation is needed to help slow down the erosion and provide a place for young fish to hide. Fish have been ordered from the Department of Conservation and have been registered.

Cattails - Hybrid carp will not help us with the cattails. There will be a second spraying in the next few weeks. Residents can help by doing the following: pull them out in the early spring before they get too large. Cut them off at ice level in the winter will inhibit growth.

Brian Ernst is looking into piers designs. In the event a design is found that the Board of Directors agrees on, design will be presented to the lake residents. We would than be required to take a vote to amend the Covenant. to allow piers.
