Career Guidance It is no longer easy for students to “fall” onto the right career path or into the right job. Good planning and preparation are the keys to a successful future. The academic courses offered help develop the skills that will open the doors to a successful career search. The Guidance Office provides a number of computer programs designed to help our students with interest inventories, the college search process, finding sources of financial aid and matching their aptitudes and interests with appropriate career areas. School-to-Work/School-to-Career Counselors also work very closely with upperclassmen on college and career plans. Programs on the college application process and financial aid (including scholarships) are sponsored annually by the Guidance Office. Scholarship information is publicized through, showcases, and announcements. The counselors meet with each student at least once a year to review the student’s progress and to make plans for the following year.
