Lesson Schedule:

Every student will have one thirty-minute lesson each week. The day of your lesson will always be the same but will be at a different time each week. This rotating schedule ensures that you are not missing the same half hour slot more than once every ten weeks. You will be responsible for making up any missed classwork while you are out for your lesson. You are responsible for arriving to your lesson on time each week.

Lessons and rehearsals normally take place on the stage in the cafeteria. You will be notified of any changes to your lesson location.

Lesson Requirements:

You are required to bring the following items to every lesson, rehearsal, and concert:  Your instrument  All music in your music folder  Your book  A pencil

Lesson Procedure/Class Rules:  Enter quickly and quietly  Assemble your instrument and sit at the table closest to the stage  Proceed to your assigned seat  Check the board for “do now”  Keep your hands/feet to yourself

Rewards! You always have the chance to earn stickers and small rewards during your lesson. Demonstrating hard work, practice, effort, and dedication will earn you stickers. The more stickers you earn, the closer you get to winning a prize from the treasure chest! Fine & Performing Arts Department
