Geography of The Mount of Olives Mount of Olives is a ridge to the east of Jerusalem separated by the Kidron valley ~100 feet higher than Jerusalem, but the Kidron valley makes it seem higher To the East visible from the summit is Bethphage and on the other side of mtn is Bethany Bethany is ~ a 3mil wlk fm Jer ovr th MOL, SUNY2Price Chopper w valley/mtn in btwn II.
