European Explorers Google Presentation
Using The American Journey textbook, selected websites, as well as other resources, create a Google presentation about an explorer that sailed between the1400’s and 1600’s.
The presentation should have at least 8 slides as follows:
*Slide 1: Title slide (name of explorer, your names, and period #)
Slide 2: The country of their birth, the approximate years that they lived, other world events happening during their lifetime
Slide 3: Background information (previous employment, family, life experiences)
Slide 4: Which country hired and funded this explorer? What resources did they have for their voyage (ships, supplies, etc.)?
Slide 5: What were they looking for on their voyage?
Slide 6: When and where did their voyages occur? Include a map.
Slide 7: What was their claim to fame? Why is this explorer significant? What did they discover?
*Slide 8: Work cited using proper format

Use a design template to create your slides with an appropriate background.
