Daily Objective: Students will solve equations.

BELL RINGER: [Good Things] Students will write down 3 or more complete sentences of good things that happened to them lately.

BEFORE/ENGAGE: [Divide and Conquer] Students will find a partner to work the carousel with.

DURING/EXPLAIN: [Carousel] Students will solve equations by rotating with a partner to different problems that are posted around the room.

AFTER/EVALUATE: [Review] Students will review and ask questions from the carousel with the teacher.

Tuesday: (February 14th) DOK COS: A.CED.1 Create equations in one variable and use them to solve problems.

Daily Objective: Students will create and solve equations with variables on both sides.

BELL RINGER: [Taboo] Students will play a round of taboo to start the day off.

BEFORE/ENGAGE: [Study/Q&A] Students will study for their solving equations quiz.

DURING/EXPLAIN: [Quiz] Students will take a quiz on solving equations.

Wednesday: (February 15th) DOK COS: A.CED.1 Create equations in one variable and use them to solve problems.

Daily Objective: Students will create and solve equations with variables on both sides.
