Bogus Officials – Bradgate Avenue, Heald Green The occupant is an 85year old female with Dementia. Neighbour sees 2 males in Hi Vis jackets enter the lady’s address and investigate their presence. She is told by the males that they are enquiring about roof work, so the neighbour demands they leave. She reports this to Police, stating that they drove off in a white van. She also reports that the words ‘Northern Roofing Contractors’ are on the Hi Vis jackets. (Nothing Stolen)

Offenders described by witness;

OFFENDER 1 W1 IRISH ACCENT 25-30 YEARS BLACK HAIR SHORTISH MEDIUM BUILD- 5 FEET 8 TALL HIGH VIS JACKET WITH NORTH WEST ROOFING WRITTEN ON THE BACK IN R ED BLUE HARD HAT

OFFENDER 2 IS WHITE MALE WITH IRISH ACCENT WITH BLACK TATTY HAIR. APPROX 50 YEARS OLD AND HIS FACE LOOKED SCARED ABD POCK MARKED IN PLACES. ALSO SHINY I N PLACES AND LOOKED LIKE IT HAD BEEN BURNED AND HEALED.SAME CLOTHING AS OFFE NDER 1 BUT CHUBBY BUILD AND 5 FOOR 6 TALL

Bogus Officials – Branksome Drive, Heald Green 2 males attended at 65 Branksome Drive, Heald Green and quoted the elderly occupant £20 for building work. They returned and demanded £3,000 and took the female to the bank to withdraw the cash. The bank (HSBC –Great Underbank) refused her the cash and called Police. The males made off in a van.

The males were in a white coloured van, vrm FG57 URN and that the words ‘Northern Roofing Contractors’ written on the van. PNC shows the vehicle from Yorkshire and no reports. Vehicle believed to be on false plates. Northern Roofing Contractors Ltd state that they have received previous complaints about this.

1 X MALE: KNOWN AS GEORGE : WHITE : EARLY 30S : 5'08" -0 5'9" TALL MEDIUM BUILD : SHORT DARK HAIR : WEARING A YELLOW HIGH VIS JACKET AND GREY TRACKSUIT BOTTOMS ENGLISH ACCENT

1 X WHITE MALE: MID 20S: 5'10 - 5'11" TALL: SLIM BUILD : DARK HAIR WEARING HIGH VIS JACKET AND DARK TRACKSUIT BOTTOMS

Cheshire Incident Vernon Road Poynton 709 28/09/2016 16:57hrs - Caller states that just after 14.00 a female came to the door asking if caller wanted any building work doing, caller has scaffolding up, caller said no and went to close the door the female said " Are you in a rush" Female was then stroking the dog and said " Is there anything I can help you with" and caller said no thanks goodbye . Caller went in her front garden at appc 15.00,a male came down the drive and asked " if you needed any building work doing ? "caller said no Thankyou and then he asked " is there anything else I can help you with?" caller said" no thankyou" caller then went inside her property and locked the door
