Equivalents are not exact. It is up to the Den Leader to decide if the mentioned equivalents are met to their satisfaction. These equivalents are based on an interpretation of the spirit of the actual requirement. In some cases the requirement is only partially met. In the Camporee Attendance Section, the experience of each scout may vary. Leaders are encouraged to read over the requirements mentions and plan to cover as many of these activities as possible as these outings are a perfect place to accomplish these requirements. The Scout troops your scout is attending with or one of the units near your camp can assist you in setting up activities to accomplish these requirements.
