Today’s Meeting:

* Welcome--Krista

*Game--Myldreth

*Review PTO Spending results page—Discussed what to do with Peter Piper Pizza funds that went through the school’s tax ID#. Referred to mpsaz.org/audit/school support

*Spring Dance Evaluation—Fun but kids were out of control. Next time need dance rules: No running, Parents help enforce, More advertisement and advance notice, More of family dance—kids can only stay if they have a parent with them.

*Finish PTO bylaws, vote on them—bylaws passed  Mariann to check on bank status and the possibility of obtaining checks from Desert Schools.

*Vote on PTO leadership for 2015-2016. Results: Krista Pres, Myldreth VP, Mariann Treasurer, Erica Secretary, Sharilyn Larsen Teacher Coordinator.

*Discuss 2015/2016 calendar and schedule dates for events:

PTO Meetings—Will try holding on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6pm to give people a chance to come after work. At 2nd meeting, will evaluate if want to keep at 6pm or return to 2:30pm. Next PTO meeting Tuesday 8/18 @ 6pm. Welcome Back Dance—Was scheduled for Thursday 9/3, perhaps move to 9/10 to avoid July planning meeting. Krista to send Stephanie list of assignments.

Thursday 10/8 Movie Night. PTO to sell popcorn.

Friday 12/11 Santa Night (5:30-7)

Christmas Store Tuesday 12/15 to Wed 12/16

Thursday 3/10/16 Carnival (4:30-6:30)
