<p> Hawthorne PTO Meeting Agenda</p><p>Date: June 23, 2015</p><p>Today’s Meeting:</p><p>* Welcome--Krista</p><p>*Game--Myldreth</p><p>*Review PTO Spending results page—Discussed what to do with Peter Piper Pizza funds that went through the school’s tax ID#. Referred to mpsaz.org/audit/school support </p><p>*Spring Dance Evaluation—Fun but kids were out of control. Next time need dance rules: No running, Parents help enforce, More advertisement and advance notice, More of family dance—kids can only stay if they have a parent with them.</p><p>*Finish PTO bylaws, vote on them—bylaws passed  Mariann to check on bank status and the possibility of obtaining checks from Desert Schools.</p><p>*Vote on PTO leadership for 2015-2016. Results: Krista Pres, Myldreth VP, Mariann Treasurer, Erica Secretary, Sharilyn Larsen Teacher Coordinator. </p><p>*Discuss 2015/2016 calendar and schedule dates for events:</p><p>PTO Meetings—Will try holding on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6pm to give people a chance to come after work. At 2nd meeting, will evaluate if want to keep at 6pm or return to 2:30pm. Next PTO meeting Tuesday 8/18 @ 6pm. Welcome Back Dance—Was scheduled for Thursday 9/3, perhaps move to 9/10 to avoid July planning meeting. Krista to send Stephanie list of assignments.</p><p>Thursday 10/8 Movie Night. PTO to sell popcorn.</p><p>Friday 12/11 Santa Night (5:30-7)</p><p>Christmas Store Tuesday 12/15 to Wed 12/16</p><p>Thursday 3/10/16 Carnival (4:30-6:30)</p><p>Teacher Appreciation Lunch TBA </p>
