1.1.2.B.1. Submit hardware schedule detailing hardware to be provided at each opening for coordination with gate frames, fence posts and related work. 1.1.2.B.2. PART 3 - EXECUTION

3.1.1.1 EXAMINATION

1.1.1.A. Examine gate frames and fence posts, with Installer present, for compliance with requirements for gate hardware installation tolerances, assembly construction, and other conditions affecting performance.

1.1.1.B. Proceed with installation only after unsatisfactory conditions have been corrected.

3.1.1.2 PREPARATION

1.1.2.A. Prepare gate frames and fence posts in accordance with manufacturer's installation instructions. Any existing gate hardware must be removed before installation. Apply the proper corrosion protection and finish to any exposed screw hole or area left over from the removal of existing hardware before installation of D&D Technologies' hardware.

3.1.1.3 INSTALLATION

1.1.3.A. Install each hardware items to comply with manufacturer’s installation instructions, building code requirements, and requirements of Authorities Having Jurisdiction.

1.1.3.B. Install hardware types and quantities indicated on submitted hardware schedule.

1.1.3.C. Do not install surface-mounted hardware until substrate finishes have been completed.
