Souper Bowl of Caring Week

PTO UPDATES JANUARY 25TH 2015

Thanks to ALL the Lynnewood families who came out to our MLK Day of service! It was a great success, and it couldn't have happened without the help of so many people. We made over 60 Jared Boxes for children at CHOP, and we made over 130 individually packed meals for struggling Veterans! Wow! Lynnewood really does ROCK!

Make-a-Lunch : Make a lunch continues on Wednesdays this year. This is another awesome program here at Lynnewood where the students make 50 brown bag lunches that we donate to the Life Center of Delaware County. This week is Mr. Gagat's homeroom. February is fourth grade's turn: Mr. H is Feb 4, and Ms. Goldblatt is Feb 11. ****************************************************************************** SOUPER BOWL OF CARING WEEK Lynnewood's 4th "Souper Bowl of Caring" food drive is this week. SPIRIT SHOP: Wondering what to do for your child’s birthday? Let us help you out. The spirit shop sells gift certificates for the whole class for $15.00 and this allows the students in your child’s class to each get a certificate for $0.50 to be used at the spirit shop. It is very important that you understand how this works. We cannot issue coupons until after payment is made which is why we need a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. If we have several birthdays in the same grade or class the week of spirit shop I will need to make arrangements for added help at that time. Please contact me at [email protected] or text me at 610-256-2868. Upcoming dates open at the Spirit shop will be open Feb 4th and 18th Also to plan ahead March 4 &18, April 15, May 6 & 20 ******************************************************************************
