10/01 Brisbane Community Park Vandalism Between 9/30/12 to 10/1/12, unknown suspect(s) wrote graffiti in the men’s restroom. The suspect(s) wrote “Juggalo,” which has been linked to a hybrid gang after the rap group Insane Clown Posse. The investigation is presently ongoing. Case # 12-1001-0001

10/01 300 block of Visitacion Ave. Commercial Burglary Between 9/30/12 to 10/1/12, unknown suspect(s) pried open the locked storage room door and attempted to pry open the change machine. No money was taken. The estimated cost of the damage is $1500. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12-1001-0002

10/01 Unspecified location Identity Theft Victim reports that on 9/30/12, unknown suspect(s) attempted to make 3 unauthorized purchases using her Walmart.com account. The victim resides in Oregon, but the items were to be shipped to a closed business in Brisbane. The transactions were unsuccessful. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12-1001-0003

10/01 100 block of Cliff Swallow Ct. Possession of Explosives & Marijuana Sales Brisbane officers were investigating a verbal argument between live-in boyfriend/girlfriend. At the conclusion of the investigation, the girlfriend showed the officers a closet containing explosives and marijuana that belonged to the boyfriend. The San Mateo County Bomb Squad and Narcotics Task Force were called to assist in the investigation. The boyfriend was arrested for illegal possession of explosives and illegal possession of Marijuana for sale. Report # 12-1001-0004

10/03 Unit block of North Hill Dr. Recovered Stolen Vehicle On 10/3/12 at 0730 hours, a stripped 1992 Honda Civic was located abandoned in the unit block of North Hill Dr. A registration check showed the vehicle was stolen out of San Bruno. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12- 1003-0001.

10/03 400 block of Valley Dr. Threats On 10/3/12 at 1110 hours, a threatening email was sent to a business at the 400 block of Valley Dr. The email referenced the company as selling fur and that if they did not stop, the building may catch on fire or explode. Investigation is ongoing and also forwarded to the FBI. Report # 12-1003-0002

1 10/04 100 block of San Benito Rd. Domestic Incident A Boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in a verbal argument over infidelity issues. It was determined no crime occurred. Case was documented as informational only and is closed. Report # 12-1004-0001

10/04 300 block of Sierra Point Rd. Petty Theft Between 10/1/12 to 10/4/12, unknown suspect(s) removed the rear license plate off the victim’s vehicle. The license plate was entered into the Stolen Vehicle System. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #12-1004-0002

10/05 Unit block of Old County Rd. Suicidal Subject A Male subject threatened to kill himself with a gun. He did not have a gun in his possession. He was transported to a psychiatric facility for a mental evaluation. Report # 12-1005-0001.

10/06 Visitacion Ave./Mariposa St. Possession of Methamphetamine An officer observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation. A traffic stop was initiated for the violation. During the contact, the driver dropped a small plastic bag in front of the officer containing suspected methamphetamine. The contents tested positive for methamphetamine. The driver was booked at the San Mateo County Jail. Report #12-1006-0001

10/06 200 block of Visitacion Ave. Possession of Hash Oil and Marijuana An officer contacted a subject on a bicycle for a traffic violation. The subject was searched pursuant to the terms of his probation. He was found to be in possession of hash oil and less than an ounce of marijuana. He was cited and released. Report #12-1006-0002.

10/07 San Bruno Ave./Alvarado St. Hit and Run – Property Damage Only A hit and run collision occurred on 10/7/12 at 0236 hours. The suspect vehicle crossed over the center lane and struck a parked vehicle. The driver then fled the scene. Evidence at the scene helped locate the suspect vehicle and driver who admitted to being involved. The case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Report #12-1007-0001

10/07 2800 block of Bayshore Blvd. Missing Person Located During a check of a local business, a Brisbane officer contacted a subject and determined he was reported missing from San Francisco. The subject was reunited with his father and the individual was removed from the Missing Persons System. Report # 12-1007-0002

10/09 300 block of Valley Dr. Commercial Burglary Between 10/8/12 to 10/9/12, unknown suspect(s) broke into two delivery trucks at a business. The suspect(s) cut off the locks to the trucks. The suspect(s) then stole and undetermined quantity of beer. Investigation ongoing. Report # 12- 1009-0001.

2 10/09 Unit block of Industrial Way Illegal dumping Between 10/5/12 to 10/9/12, unknown suspect(s) dumped approximately 4 garbage bags containing clothing, computer components, toys, and furniture on a private driveway. There were items identifying a possible owner to the garbage. Investigation is ongoing. Report # 12-1009-0002

10/09 3700 block of Bayshore Blvd. Vehicle Burglary Between 10/2/12 to 10/9/12, unknown suspect(s) broke into a locked vehicle by smashing the front passenger side window. The suspect(s) then stole the car’s radio which is valued at $200. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12-1009-0003

10/11 Unit block of San Francisco Ave. Theft of license plates Between 10/9/12 to 10/11/12, unknown suspect(s) stole the license plates off of the victim’s vehicle. The license plates were entered into the Stolen Vehicle System. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12-1011-0001.

10/12 Monarch Dr./ N. Hill Dr. Traffic Hazard/Recovered Stolen Vehicle A vehicle was left blocking the roadway. Attempts to locate and contact the owner were met with negative results. The vehicle was towed from the scene. It was later determined the vehicle was an unreported stolen vehicle from San Francisco. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #12-1012-0001

10/12 200 block of Valley Dr. Non-Injury, Hit & Run The victim parked her vehicle in the parking lot of her workplace. When she returned, she discovered someone had sideswiped the passenger side of her vehicle. The other responsible party did not provide his/her information as required by law. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #12-1012-0002

10/12 900 block of Tunnel Ave. Possession of a Stolen Vehicle A Brisbane Officer was driving southbound on Tunnel Ave. and saw a 1990s Honda Accord that are popular vehicles to steal. The officer conducted a registration check on the license plate and discovered the car was reported stolen. The driver was taken into custody and booked at the San Mateo County Jail for possession of a stolen vehicle and property. Report # 12-1012-0003.

10/14 Unit block of Old County Rd. Domestic Incident A Boyfriend and girlfriend were involved in a verbal argument. The boyfriend was tired of arguing with his girlfriend and dropped her off in Brisbane. The girlfriend was given a courtesy ride to South San Francisco. No crime occurred. Report #12-1014-0001

3 10/14 200 block of San Benito Rd. Coroners’ case Officers responded to a residence with firefighter/medics on a deceased person. There was no indication of foul play. The San Mateo County Coroner’s office responded and took possession of the body to investigate further. Case closed, coroner’s case. Report # 12-1014-0002.

10/15 400 block of Valley Dr. Commercial Burglary Between 10/12/12 to 10/14/12, unknown suspect(s) entered a secured yard and gained access to several locked vehicles. The suspect(s) took food items, a wallet, and siphoned gasoline. The total loss is estimated to be $2,100. Investigation ongoing. Report # 12-1015-0001.

10/16 400 block of Valley Dr. Commercial Burglary Between 10/15/12 to 10/16/12, unknown suspect(s) broke into several locked vehicles and took miscellaneous food items. The value of the damage/loss is unknown at this time. Investigation ongoing. Report # 12-1016-0001

10/16 200 block of Mendocino St. Dog Bite Victim was bitten by a dog and sustained a cut to the right leg. The dog was contained. Report to be forwarded to SPCA. Report # 12-1016-0002

10/16 3700 block of Bayshore Blvd. Poss. of Meth., marijuana & drug pipe An officer located a suspicious subject on private property. The subject was contacted and found to be on probation. He was searched based on the terms of his probation and found to have 3 marijuana cigarettes, a glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine, and a glass jar with a methamphetamine residue. The subject was cited for the marijuana and released at the scene. The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. Report # 12- 1016-0004

10/17 Brisbane Police Department Narcotics Registrant Subject came into the Brisbane Police Department to register as a drug registrant as required by law. Report # 12-1017-0001

10/17 400 block of Kings Rd. Minor injury accident. A child was walking to school when he placed his foot in the roadway as a motor vehicle was passing by. The driver drove over the child’s foot. This resulted in a minor injury in which the parents would have the child evaluated at the hospital. Case taken. Report # 12-1017-0002.

10/17 300 block of Monterey St. CPS Referral A report referral was forwarded to the Brisbane Police Department by child protective services. An officer conducted a follow-up investigation and determined there was no merit to the complaint. Report # 12-1017-0003.

4 10/18 Oakland Courtesy Report – Fraudulent use of credit card The Victim reports that unknown suspect(s) attempted to use her credit card to make a $3,000 purchase at Saks Fifth Ave. The charges did not go through. Investigation indicates the incident originated in Oakland. Case forwarded to Oakland PD. Report #12-1018-0001.

10/18 Glen Park Way/San Bruno Ave. Hit and run, property damage On 10/16/12, an unknown suspect(s) collided with the rear end of the victim’s vehicle causing minor damage. The suspect(s) then fled the scene without providing his/her information as required by law. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12-1018-0002.

10/19 400 block of Valley Dr. Disturbing the peace The suspect came to her ex-boyfriend’s place of work to confront her ex- boyfriend’s co-worker whom she suspects is the cause of their breakup. A verbal argument ensued at the work place. The suspect left after she was told to leave by staff. The police were notified of the incident several hours later. The victim declined any criminal prosecution and the suspect was admonished. Case closed. Report # 12-1019-0001

10/20 Unit block of Cypress Ln. Vehicle Burglary Between 10/19-10/20, unknown suspect(s) broke the seal to three trailers located at the business. The suspect(s) then removed a mattress and luggage that were being stored in the trailer. Investigation ongoing. Report # 12-1012- 0001

10/21 Guadalupe Canyon Pkwy./Carter St. Minor-Injury Accident A solo motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle while travelling on Guadalupe Canyon Pkwy. The motorcyclist had complaint of pain and minor visible injuries to his knees. He was transported to a local hospital. Report # 12-1021-0001

10/22 Unit block of Visitacion Ave. Vandalism – Property Damage Between 10/21-10/22, unknown suspect(s) damaged two deadbolt door locks on the front door of a local business. The suspect(s) inserted screws into the key holes and broke off the heads. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #12-1022-0001.

10/22 100 block of West Hill Dr. Vandalism – Graffiti Between 10/8 to 10/22 unknown suspect(s) used a permanent marker to deface the front door of the property. The estimate to remove the graffiti is estimated to be less than $100. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12-1022- 0002.

10/23 Valley Dr./Bayshore Blvd. Non-Injury Accident A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle during while turning onto Valley Dr. from Bayshore Blvd. Case closed. Report # 12-1023-0001

5 10/25 Valley Dr./North Hill Dr. Non-Injury Accident A semi-tractor/trailer was preparing to make a right turn into a business by swinging wide, occupying the oncoming #1 lane. During the turning movement, the truck struck a passing vehicle in the adjacent lane. Case closed. Report # 12- 1025-0001

10/25 Glen Parkway/Sierra Point Rd. Non-Injury Accident On 10/25, a driver miscalculated the distance between his vehicle and a fence of a nearby property while making a turn. The driver struck the fence causing minor damage. Case closed. Report # 12-1025-0001.

10/26 400 block of Valley Dr. Vehicle Burglary Between 10/25-10/26 unknown suspect(s) entered four locked vehicles and took miscellaneous food items. The value of the items has not been determined. Investigation ongoing. Report # 12-1026-0001.

10/26 400 block of Marina Blvd. Driving under the influence On 10/26, a witness saw the suspect strike a parked vehicle twice. The suspect then fell asleep in his vehicle. Officers responded and contacted the suspect seated in the driver’s seat. The suspect showed objective signs of having consumed alcoholic beverages. He was unable to perform the Field Sobriety Tests and refused to cooperate any further. The suspect was arrested for driving under the influence. Report # 12-1026-0003

10/28 100 block of Cliff Swallow Ct. Domestic Incident On 10/28, husband and wife were involved in a verbal argument over who was going to do the dishes. The situation was mediated and the husband agreed to leave for a few hours until the tension dissipated. Informational report only. Report # 12-1028-0001.

10/28 Visitacion Ave./Klamath St. Minor-Injury Accident On 10/28 a driver was attempting to make a U-turn from southbound Visitacion Ave. to northbound Visitacion Ave. in order to park his vehicle. During the U- turn, the driver did not see an approaching bicyclist. The bicyclist collided with the vehicle as a result of the turn. The bicyclist only had complaint of pain and was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. Case closed. Report # 12- 1028-0002

10/29 5000 block of Sierra Point Pkwy. Vehicle Burglary On 10/29, sometime between 1130-1230, unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger side window of a locked vehicle. The suspect(s) then proceeded to take a wallet from the vehicle. Case suspended pending further leads. Report # 12-1029-0001.

6 10/29 Kings Rd./San Mateo Ln. Non-Injury Accident A fire truck collided with a guard rail while responding to a call for service in the area. Case closed. Report # 12-1029-0002.

10/30 5000 block of Sierra Point Pkwy. Vehicle Burglary On 10/29, the victim noticed the front side window and rear cargo window were smashed. The suspect(s) took $5 from the center console. Case suspended pending further leads. Report #12-1030-0001

10/30 300 block of Swallowtail Ct. Suicidal Subject Subject ingested a mixture of pills after an argument with her husband. She was determined to be a danger to herself and placed under a 72 mental evaluation. Report #12-1030-0002.

10/31 Unit block of Lehning Way. Stolen/Recovered Vehicle Sometime between 10/30-10/31, unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s truck. The vehicle was later recovered in the unit block of Thomas Ave. The suspect(s) took several tools and the victim’s wallet from the vehicle. The wallet contained the victim’s debit card, which the suspect(s) used. Investigation ongoing. Report # 12-1031-0001

10/31 300 block of Valley Dr. Vehicle Burglary On 10/31 between 1255-1900 hours, unknown suspect(s) smashed the right rear passenger window of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect(s) then stole the victim’s lunch bag. Investigation ongoing. Report # 12-1031-0002.
