Mission Statement Partnering with the community to serve those who are in crisis to restore them to freedom and purpose through the transforming power of the Gospel.

Dear Friends, With my first year behind me here are some reflections on what we have accomplished so far:

 Served 24,560 Meals in 2015  Gave food baskets to 323 families in 2015  Provided shelter for 1064 individuals in 2015  Provided 13,140 bed nights of shelter in 2015  All staff now paid at least minimum wage  Staff better trained  Mission cleaner and more efficient  Multiple systems for security and administration now in action  Launched Get Grit Podcasts  Published 170 + Blog Posts  Published over 50 podcasts (Most on ITUNES Get Grit)  Launched new website: grmmuskogee.org  Launched Doorways of Hope Recovery Service  Launched Desire to Change Inmate Reintegration  Spoke at a wide variety of churches and civic organizations (Estimated at 75)  Led National Day of Prayer Event  Led two successful dinners for those experiencing poverty  Started Twitter account with over 2000 Tweets  Tripled the number of Page Likes for our Facebook Page  Started Citadel of Mighty Men  Started Women of Worth The following is an overview of Gospel Rescue Mission’s income and expenses for the fiscal year that ended December 31, 2015:

Starting Grit U: SOCIAL BUSINESS: Online Classes for our guests and for the community to learn more about poverty, conflict resolution and leadership

Move into Callahan Building: Cannot give hard move in dates yet but I believe we will be in the new building within the next year.

Neighborhood Building Project: Launch of a time bank, get to know your neighbor pilot project

Get great ratings from the BBB, ECFA and Certified by AGRM

Increase Board of Directors

Develop Board of Directors Training (Share with Neighbors Building Neighborhoods as part of Grit U.

Develop system where someone in poverty is a member of this board (Possibly current guest rotation)

Bring Desire to Change under GRM umbrella

Increase in staff and staff salaries/benefits

Take select staff to AGRM Convention

Create one event a quarter to increase volunteers, partners and donations

Target: 90% or more of shelter guests who stay over 1 month  Dress code around the mission  Online classes  Get a job game  Shorter stays for those who do not want to look for work
