1 Introduction

In order to have a safe working environment for patients, staff, visitors and volunteers, staff are required to attend Mandatory Training. The mandatory training allows for the Hospice Isle of Man staff to follow policies and procedures as laid down by the Senior Management Team and supported by the Board of Governors. There in the quality of work by Hospice staff can be assessed by the Registrations and Inspectors. The quality of Hospice staff work can be assured for Insurance purpose.

The mandatory training is evidence-based and has the expertise of the multi- professional team providing the training.

Terms and Conditions If you need to cancel your place on a course for any reason we would ask that you inform us as early as possible as places are often limited and we could free up a place for someone else to attend.

Certificates Certificates will be provided upon completion of each course by email.

Please respect these trainers in their knowledge and experience of each topic.

Mandatory training is a Hospice requirement therefore your commitment to attending and learning is paramount. It is the responsibility of managers at appraisal to ensure the organisation is compliant.

Parking Limited parking is available on our site. Please park next to the Scholl Centre which is on the left-hand side as you enter the grounds.
