Our United Way campaign is off to a good start. We would like to remind you to consider giving all or part of your gift to the Impact Fund.

When you choose the United Way Impact Fund, you support a network of high performing non-profits that help teens and youth succeed, ease vulnerability of our older seniors, and reduce financial struggles for adults and families.

The scope and reach of the United Way Impact Fund extends across many populations and needs. Your gift helps strengthen our community by supporting services and initiatives that:

 Enhance employment readiness skills for youth

 Advocate violence prevention and drug free activities

 Reduce isolation and improve health and independence for seniors

 Offer relief for families with frail elderly relatives

 Address mental health, addiction and substance abuse needs

 Heighten self-sufficiency through job training and skill-building

 Provide access to safe, affordable housing and utility cost reduction

 Support all citizens during times of disaster

In addition, you can further help children and youth by supporting two new United Way of Southwestern PA initiatives aimed at preventing youth violence and motivating kids to succeed in school – initiatives that are vital to the well-being of our children and the health of our community. No other choice allows you to help so many with just one gift.
