Scott Brown began his career in professional sales in 1993 at one of the top 25 food service distributors in the country, Cash-Wa Distributing based in Kearney, Nebraska. Scott served a number of roles at Cash-Wa including Produce and Commodity Purchasing, Candy and Tobacco Operations Manager, and Chemical Specialist.
In 1999, Betco was beginning its transformation from a Private Label Manufacturer into a nationally recognized Branded Chemical and Equipment manufacturer. Scott took the opportunity to join Betco and move his young family to Michigan in his new role as the Michigan Regional Manager. After 3 years as a Regional Manager, he was promoted to the Midwest Division Manager covering a dozen states and ten Regions.
As Betco continued to expand both on the National and Global market, Scott was named National Sales Manager in 2005. Scott initiated the formation of Betco’s Inside Sales Team to accelerate growth, enhance distributor support, and drive end user demand. Under his direction, Betco’s sales strategy shifted from a B2B to a B2C sales strategy driving end user demand to pull new business through Betco’s national network of distributors.
In January of 2008, Scott was named Vice President of Sales for Betco Corporation and is charged with leading the company’s strategic and tactical direction. Scott has lead Betco’s initiative to position itself as the leader in Innovative Cleaning Technology. He leveraged the use of new technology to drive a robust sales process with over 60 sales team professionals for accelerated growth.
Scott and his wife Tracey have been married for nearly 20 years. They are blessed with three girls, Jennell, Haley, and Jordan.
Scott attended the University of Nebraska Kearney and University of Nebraska Lincoln. Scott served in the in the Army National Guard from 1987 to 1996.
