RESEARCH AND SCHOLARSHIP
My research interests focus largely on examining physical education, activity, and recess policies and implementation. Currently, I am most interested in further seeking: 1) how ambiguous terminology can affect follow through and implementation of stated policy, 2) how lack of accountability at different state and district levels influence actual time spent in physical activity within the school day, and 3) how various support from stakeholders within school environments persuade health and wellness of a school culture.
