Technical Assistance Technical Assistance is the cornerstone of everything the Arts & Cultural Council offers. Services include grant writing assistance, fiscal sponsorship for projects, free legal assistance, workshops and professional development seminars, and more. Discounts Your Arts & Cultural Council membership entitles you to discounts at every Arts Council event, workshop, and seminar. The Arts Council offers networking opportunities (free for members) as well as seminars on website design, marketing, legal issues, and more.

Online Artist Membership Directory The Artist Membership Directory is searchable by name, discipline, keyword, and more. This feature allows visitors to perform quick and accurate searches. The Arts & Cultural Council uses the Artist Membership Directory to make referrals to designers, curators, schools, individuals, and businesses. The Arts & Cultural Council will also place a digital image of your choice to accompany your Artist Membership Directory information. For more information call Janis Castrogiovanni, extension 204.

Website Links Included with your Artist Membership Directory listing are links back to your own website. Should you need a website designed for you, the Arts Council’s Communications Manager, Carolyn Reynolds, extension 206, can refer you to local designers.

Online Regional Events Calendar The Arts & Cultural Council’s Online Regional Events Calendar is the information hub for cultural programming in our region. Members can list their openings and performances for free on the calendar. Please visit www.artsrochester.org and click on the “REGIONAL EVENTS CALENDAR” button for more information, or call Carolyn Reynolds, extension 206.

Member Gallery The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester’s 1,100 square foot gallery is accessible to individual and cultural organization members. For information please call Sarah Lentini, President and CEO, extension 207.

Arts-E-News The Arts & Cultural Council’s bi-weekly electronic newsletter reaches over 3,000 culture lovers in the Greater Rochester area. Members can submit information at no cost. Your submission must arrive via e-mail, newsletter-ready, no later than Friday of the week prior to publishing. Submissions should be sent to [email protected].

Health Insurance The Arts & Cultural Council offers a variety of health and dental insurance plans to self-employed Artist Members in six counties. The health plans are offered with a variety of family coverage and payment options. The Arts Council is also pleased to offer discounts on long term care insurance through Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. For more information call Janis Castrogiovanni, extension 204.
