Local Government Professionals Australia, SA 15th Annual Leadership Excellence Gala Awards Dinner

The Local Government Professionals Australia, SA Leadership Excellence Awards Program recognises outstanding achievement and innovation in local government.

The overall aim of the Local Government Professionals Australia, SA Leadership Excellence Awards is to:

 Raise the standard and quality of local government leadership and management across local government in South Australia.

 Create public awareness of the level of expertise and excellence in local government.

 Recognise excellence demonstrated by Local Government Professionals SA members and individuals employed by local government thereby rewarding their efforts.

Each year the awards are presented at the Local Government Professionals SA Gala Awards Dinner. This year’s event will be held on Friday 15 April at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

490 people from councils across South Australia will be attending the black tie affair which will be hosted by Mike Smithson.

The event is made possible by the support of:

 LGFA (Diamond Partner), McArthur, Statewide Super, LGRS, Norman Waterhouse Lawyers, Telstra (Emerald Partners), Government of South Australia, LGA, Solo Resource Recovery and Tonkin Consulting, (Award Partners).

The LG Professionals SA Gala Awards Dinner is the ‘Night of Nights’ for local government - it’s our equivalent of the Logies.

One of the highlights of the evening will be the presentation to the winning council of the 2016 LG Professionals Australia Management Challenge – a highly competitive Australasian event that cultivates career and personal development within and throughout
