Quicksilver Agility Club General Membership Meeting April 14, 2008

Meeting called to order at 7:15 PM Members Present: Cori Meyer, Chris Vaught (?), Jenny Haas, Cathie Rossman, Carrie Dempsey, Judy McQuain, Kat & Chandra Matheson, Bill Ackermann Guests: Andrea Minor (lab), Phyllis Atkinson (2 Std Poodles & Rottie mix), Lee Luce (getting a Border Collie – had 2 previously) Treasurer’s Report:  We have $391.04 in checking and $500.45 in savings

Secretary’s Report:  Written minutes for April distributed at the meeting and will be available on the website

Board Report  Written minutes for April distributed at the meeting and will be available on the website

Training Report  Available classes at Sly Fox Agility (Minden) Kim Munoz . Classes start 5/7 – intermediate classes only  Carrie will do Foundation and Intro for people and dogs

Old Business:  Equipment to be purchased: update – not yet / no money  Mick and Scud Tribute Ad – response (check wasn’t sent, Jenny will give to Karey Krauter at the USDAA Trial)

New Business:  Meeting Schedule . May no meeting . June Board and General Meetings . July no meeting . August General Meeting . September no meeting  Demo Team needs “Roadies” – contact Judy McQuain

May Trial Report:  See Board minutes  Hospitality – Judy McQuain (both days) is going elaborate – Oatmeal and warm stuff  We will have 4H workers for the trial

Wags  Jacob (McQuain) earned his first Rally leg with a 3rd place at the Sacramento KC show and won his veterans class in breed  Tres (Dempsey) got his 3rd Double Q towards his Rally RAE title with a 98 in Ex B and a 98 in Adv B  Dora (Meyer) earned 5 Qs at the Haute Tracs Trial: P2 Jumpers – 2 First Place Qs, P2 Snooker – 1 First Place Q, 1 2nd Place Q, P2 Gamblers – 1 First Place Q  Elisabeth (Rossman) went to the Fort Worth KC show in Texas (March 22nd) and handled our (new) breeder’s female to Winner’s Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed for a 3 point Major over male and female specials handled by experienced breeder/handlers
