Help4wales Foundation Is a Fast Growing, Non-Profit, Community Interest Company Set Up

Help4Wales Foundation

Introduction

Help4Wales Foundation is a fast growing, non-profit, community interest company set up to support communities in need of intervention.

Homelessness, domestic violence and unemployment are just a few of the devastating issues that affect families across Wales. A recent survey shows nearly a quarter of our population, almost 700,000 live in poverty. With so many struggling Help4Wales are fighting a constant and desperate battle.

Our main service is an Animal Safe Haven that temporarily cares for pets whilst their owners escape a domestic abuse environment. Victims access a refuge and begin to rebuild their lives, meanwhile their pets are placed in foster care where they receive a full health check, vet treatment if required, and a fosterer to provide a temporary loving home.

The success of our project relies heavily upon the generous support of the community, government and private organisations. Our volunteers and staff play a vital role in fundraising, running collections and promoting Help4Wales within their communities.

We are always looking to recruit additional fosterers and expand our fundraising activities, raising additional capital to support our rapidly expanding service. We are seeking enthusiastic people to join our fundraising and recruitment team and currently have a paid position available.
