FUEL PRICE REPORT - JANUARY 2002

Prices at garages and supermarkets varied little from last month. At garages Higher Octane stayed the same as last month, Unleaded rose by 0.4p per litre (1.9p per gallon), Diesel stayed the same as last month. At Supermarkets Higher Octane rose by 0.1p per litre (0.4p per gallon), Unleaded rose by 0.9p per litre (4.1p per gallon), Diesel stayed the same.

The national average price for LPG is 36.42p per litre.

The most expensive region (excluding “Scotland - remote areas”) for each fuel is boxed. Garages

Prices at garages and supermarkets stayed approximately the same as last month. At garages Higher Octane stayed the same as last month, Unleaded rose by 0.2p per litre Diesel fell by 0.1p per litre At Supermarkets Higher Octane fell by 0.2p per litre, Unleaded fell by 0.1p per litre, Diesel fell by 0.2p per litre.

At garages Higher Octane rose by 0.6p per litre (2.7p per gallon), Unleaded by 2.1p per litre (9p per gallon), Diesel by 0.6p per litre (2.7p per gallon). At Supermarkets Higher Octane rose by 0.7p per litre (3.1p per gallon), Unleaded by 1.6p per litre (7.3p per gallon), and Diesel by 0.5p per litre (2.3p per gallon).

FUEL PRICE REPORT - APRIL 2002

Prices at garages and supermarkets rose again this month. At garages Higher Octane rose by 1.4p per litre (6.4p per gallon), Unleaded by 2.5p per litre (11.3p per gallon), Diesel by 1.4p per litre (6.4p per gallon). At supermarkets Higher Octane rose by 1.2p per litre (5.5p per gallon), Unleaded by 3.8p per litre (17.2p per gallon), Diesel by 1.8p per litre (18.2p per gallon).

At garages, Higher Octane fell by 0.5p per litre (2.2p per gallon), Unleaded by 0.6p per litre (2.7p per gallon), Diesel by 0.5p per litre (2.2p per gallon). At supermarkets, Higher Octane fell by 0.8p per litre (3.6p per gallon), Unleaded by 1p per litre (4.5p per gallon), Diesel by 1p per litre (4.5p per gallon).
