Welcome to the Shellharbour Public School P & C page. The P & C is a group of volunteer parents, teachers and community members who are committed to making our school community and our kids’ experience of school at SPS the best it can possibly be.

We love new faces! Please feel free to come along to a meeting to keep up to date on the latest school news, make a contribution or suggestion, get involved with decision making impacting your school, or just watch and listen. It’s a fantastic way to meet other parents and be part of a wonderful school association.

You can commit as little or as much as you like. You can come to meetings as often or as infrequently as you like. No pressure! More contributors means more diversity, more ideas, more opportunities and a better school for our children.

The fundraising efforts of the SPS P & C are nothing short of extraordinary and the benefits are felt throughout the school both in terms of financial contribution and in building a real sense of community. Support from parents, no matter how great or small, is integral to the success of any fundraising efforts. We would like to thank all parents for getting involved in past activities including, but not limited to, the annual Spring Fair (fete), Sausage Sizzle days, Easter Egg raffles, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, ‘Sweet Tuesdays’, and supporting the Canteen as customers and volunteers. We look forward to continued support and developing new opportunities together.

P & C meetings start at 6.30 pm and are held in the staffroom. Meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings for 2016 are scheduled for the following dates: April (school holidays - no meeting) Wednesday, 11 May Wednesday, 8 June July (school holidays - no meeting) Wednesday, 10 August Wednesday, 14 September Wednesday, 12 October Wednesday, 9 November December - to be determined
