Pentecost has, for many years, spread the word 17 of God to all who would listen. Her untiring efforts to help 18 mankind by counseling and healing the sad hearts of those who 19 feel that life has given them a raw deal has been her life’s mission. 20 She reassures everyone that God is constantly knocking at the door 21 for all who would heed His words, thereby teaching to those who 22 would listen that difficulty comes to everyone, but especially to 23 those who do not follow the Master’s plan; and 24 25 Whereas, Minister Pentecost is founder and pastor of the Revival 26 Center, now Canaan House of Prayer, and she continues to spread 27 the Gospel as a part of Power 106.1 Radio Broadcast, entitled 28 “Search the Scriptures”, which airs for one hour on Sunday 29 evenings; and 30 31 Whereas, Minister Susie Pentecost served God by converting her 32 own garage into Trinity Mission, of which she is founder and 33 pastor. This wonderful lady looks for audiences every where she 34 goes and as a result has brought many, many souls to Christ; and 35 36 Whereas, it seems truly fitting and proper that she be honored as a 37 faithful servant to the community, Berkeley County, and to the 38 State of South Carolina. Now, therefore, 39 40 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate 41 concurring: 42

Pentecost of Berkeley County for her 3 many outstanding deeds and her wonderful service to the people of 4 her community and the State. 5 6 Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to 7 Minister Pentecost. 8 ----XX----
