Cameron University Athletics – Sports Information August 2015 to Dec. 2015 Sports Information Intern Assisted in the day to day activities of the Sports Information office at Cameron University by aiding in the promotion and publication of Cameron’s 11 varsity programs. Completed tasks such as maintaining the university’s athletic website, keeping stats, creating programs and game notes, and a variety of other tasks. Trained new employees in various tasks such as keeping statistics for volleyball and basketball, writing game notes and other press releases, and other tasks. Aided in the marketing of Cameron’s sports by assisting with luncheons and events used to promote the athletic department to the surrounding community.
Cameron University Athletics – Sports Information August 2012 to May 2015 Sports Information Assistant Served as the primary assistant for the Sports Information department at Cameron University. Assisted in the promotion and publication of Cameron’s 11 varsity programs. Served as the primary contact for Cameron’s baseball, women’s basketball, women’s golf, and cross country teams. First Baptist Church, Lawton, OK February 2011 to July 2016 Small Group Leader/sponsor Small group leader and sponsor for middle and high school camps and devotional weekends. Led small groups of middle and high school young men, leading through devotionals and conducting group discussions. Taught bible lessons and led group activities. Helped with the organization and application of recreational teams for the student ministry group at camp.
First Baptist Church, Lawton, OK May 2011 to August 2011 Student Worker/Counselor Student Counselor and Assistant for children’s summer camp programming. Supervised and directed children’s programs, crafts, devotions for elementary age children. Provided recreational programming for summer program. Supervised off-campus trips for children’s summer program. Worked with team of counselors and director of program to ensure successful experience for children campers.
First Baptist Church, Lawton, OK January 2010 to Present Audio Visual Technician Both volunteer and paid position as Audio Visual Technician, Operate professional-grade camera and production equipment to support live broadcast of FBC Lawton, OK weekly service broadcast, weddings, and special events.
