SUMMARY STATEMENT THIS RESOLUTION INITIATES THE REVIEW OF A COMMON COUNCIL SPECIAL PERMIT APPLICATION TO CONSTRUCT 52 UNITS OF INDEPENDENT LIVING SENIOR HOUSING OR A FACILITY FOR 81 ASSISTED LIVING BEDS IN THE R-1A ZONING DISTRICT. THIS RESOLUTION REFERS THE APPLICATION TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION FOR A RECOMMENDATION.

WHEREAS, the Common Council has received an application from Trinity Associates,
LLC, 200 Clearbrook Road, Suite 134, Elmsford, NY 10523 for a Special Permit in order to construct 52 units of independent living senior housing, or a facility for 81 assisted living beds; and
WHEREAS, the subject property is located at 1847 Crompond Road in the R-1A Zoning
District, and is known as Section 33.7-3-12 on the City of Peekskill Official Tax Assessment
Map; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 575-57 of the City Code, this special permit application is required to be referred to the Planning Commission for its review and recommendation prior to holding a Public Hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that the Common Council hereby forwards this application for a Common
Council Special Permit to the Planning Commission pursuant to Section 575-57 for its report and recommendation.
