KidsHealth® Online Support Center Available to UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Members Providing Easy, Fun and Interactive Access to Health Information KidsHealth Support Center creates learning atmosphere for kids, young adults and their parents with more than 200 videos and 10,000 written or spoken articles on a variety of health and wellness topics
OMAHA (March XX, 2015) – The KidsHealth Support Center is available for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan members to ensure they have accurate, timely and reliable health information through an easy, fun, safe and interactive online environment.
The KidsHealth Support Center at www.UHCCommunityPlan.com/NEkids provides easy-to-use health and wellness information to children, teens, and parents. Members can find more than 200 videos and 10,000 written or spoken articles in the center, including, asthma, diabetes, nutrition and fitness.
The KidsHealth Support Center features separate sections designed specifically for kids, teens and parents, with each section presenting facts in a clear, colorful style that makes learning easier and more fun. It also provides families with perspective, advice, and comfort about a wide range of physical, emotional, and behavioral issues that affect children and teens including depression, eating disorders and bullying. The Support Center is available in English and Spanish and can be accessed on either a mobile device or a desktop computer. The KidsHealth Support Center is created by Nemours, one of the largest nonprofit pediatric health organizations in the country.
