SET UP TIMES Exhibitors will be able to set up their Gazebos from FRIDAY MORNING.

COMMERCIAL STANDS Anyone interested in having a stand over the Kusa Classic Weekend can contact RICKY GOUWS to organise the same. Ricky’s cell No. is 082- 5608058. The fee is R250.00 inclusive of both Saturday and Sunday.

CHANGE OF JUDGE FCI INTERNATIONAL AFRICA SHOW – GROUP 2 In accordance with the Rules of FCI and the number of entries received on Group 2 - Judge: Mr. M. Duarte [Brazil], the Show Committee is forced to exercise the right to re-allocate some of the Breeds in Group 2 to Mr. C. de Guiliani [Italy]. The following Breeds will be judged in Ring 5 after the completion of Group 5 in that same ring: Boerboel Miniature Schnauzers [Black] [Salt & Pepper] Neopolitan Mastiffs Pyrenean Mountain Dog Rottweiler St. Bernard [long haired] [Short haired] Shar Pei

INFORMATION ON WORKING DISCIPLINES:

WORKING TRIAL – NATIONALS – ADDITIONAL JUDGE APPOINTED. All Exhibitors will be advised by the Working Trials Association the due to the wonderful entry for the National Tracker Dog 3, the competition will have to be split in order to complete this competition on Friday 1st June. Mrs. Shore and Mr. Fry will now both judge this competition.

AGILITY AND DOG JUMPING. The S.A. Agility Championships /AWC trials will be held with the Kusa Classic Weekend 2007. The rings will be on the top field of the Goldfields Show Grounds. Please be advised of the scheduled times for this event and the KUSA NATIONAL EVENT still to be held on Saturday 2nd June but after the S.A. Agility Trials. Friday 1st June 2007: 10h00 - 1st AWC Round. 12h00 - 2nd AWC Round.

Saturday 2nd June 2007: 08h00 - 1st AWC Round. 10h00 - 2nd AWC Round. 12h00 - KUSA National Agility Competition (order to be finalized). Kusa National Dog Jumping will be held after Agility.

Sunday 3rd June 2007: KUSA Championship Show [Including Flyball Championship show and Nationals. This all remains the same as per the Kusa Classic Weekend Show Schedule 2007.

INFORMATION ON BREED PARKING No VEHICLES are allowed on any of the fields in the vicinity of the rings.

Top Field NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED BEYOND THE GATE LEADING INTO THE GOLDFIELDS CLUB HOUSE AND TOILETS etc. Please park your cars in the normal parking area above this gate.

Bottom Field There will be tape erected BEHIND which you are requested to park your cars. Your Trailers and gazebos can be placed around the rings in front of the cars. Please be so kind as to adhere to this request. Vehicles too close to the rings cause congestion during the show and take up benching space.

INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS & VISITORS

BROADCASTING ON THE PULIC ADDRESS SYSTEM: This is reserved for official announcements and cannot be used for any other purposes.

LOST CHILDREN & ADULTS: It is suggested that visitors who misplace children or adults who are separated from their friends or relatives, should call at the Public Address area in the Main Marquee on the bottom grounds.

MEDICAL FACILITIES: Paramedics are on call – please enquire at the Office which is situated in front on the Main Marquee on the bottom grounds or from an Official or Security Officer.

VETERINARY SERVICE: There will be a Veterinarian on call. Should you need the services of a Veterinarian – enquire at the Office.

SECURITY: Security Officers are in charge of security at all times and it would be appreciated that their instructions be adhered to and that they are treated with courtesy and respect at all times.

PHOTOGRAPHY:  There is no objection to the general public taking photographs, films or videos of the general show, provided these are for private use only. The taking of photographs, films or videos for sale or reward is strictly prohibited, except with the written permission of the Kennel Union of Southern Africa.  Specific dogs may only be photographed with the approval of the exhibitor.  Flash photography is forbidden.  No Entry into any ring during any part of the judging is permitted for taking of photographs.  No photography will be allowed to interfere with the judging of dogs.

THE DOG SHOWS: Visitors are requested not to touch or interfere with dogs in any way. The Kennel Union of Southern Africa accepts no responsibility for injury or damage caused by disregarding this warning. VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE! Exhibitors are requested to keep their dogs on leads at all times and only dogs actually entered in the Show are allowed on the show grounds.

DOGS IN CARS: Remember HEAT KILLS! Dogs must not be left in cars or other vehicles without adequate ventilation as they may become distressed or die.

PARKING: All vehicles are parked at the owner’s/driver’s own risk. There will be car guards, who are working on a gratuity basis, should you wish to tip them, they would be most grateful.

LOSS & DAMAGE: The Kennel Union of Southern Africa and the Sponsors of any event at this Show are not responsible for the loss or damage to any dog or the property of any Exhibitor, Official or Visitor to the Show, whether the result of accident or any other cause. It is expressly understood that every dog at the Show is in the care, custody and control of its Owner or Handler during the time the animal is on the Show grounds.

CHILDREN: The welfare of any child brought into the Show Grounds is the responsibility of the Exhibitor, Parent, Guardian or person stand ‘Loco Parentis’. It is expressly understood that the Exhibitor, Parent, Guardian or person standing in loco parentis will exercise control and restraint of their children whilst the child /children are within the Show Grounds.

LITTER: Please do not throw any litter on the grounds. Your assistance in keeping the Show Grounds tidy by placing all litter in the receptacles provided would be much appreciated.

FOULING BY DOGS: Please use your “poop scoop” and place all dog waste in the receptacles provided.
