Mike Almassian represents businesses and individual clients in a wide spectrum of matters ranging from complex commercial disputes to simple breach of contract claims. Mike focuses his practice on commercial disputes, receivership actions and bankruptcy litigation. Before joining Keller & Almassian PLC in 2007, Mike practiced as a litigator for one of Michigan's largest law firms. He gained trial experience representing commercial clients in litigation matters in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Missouri and West Virginia.

Representative Experience Commercial Litigation: Mike Represents Volvo Truck North America and Mack Truck, Inc. in various supplier disputes and contract matters. (Macsteel Service Centers USA, Inc. v. Volvo Truck North America and Mack Truck, Inc. Kent County Circuit Court Case No. 09- 04832-CK). Industrial Electronic Services, Ltd. is a Toronto company that repairs and services industrial electronic components in the United States and Canada. Mike counsels IES on contract and business matters and represents IES in litigation in Michigan and New York. (KJDE Corp. v. Industrial Electronic Services Ltd. Index No.: 2013-4341 RJI No.: 33-13-3167 Supreme Court of New York Onondaga County). Mike has defended a technology company in New Mexico Federal District Court in multimillion dollar litigation arising from the design and installation of a wireless data network serving New Mexico's Rail-Runner public transportation system. Sunshine Heifers is an Arizona company that leases several thousand dairy cows nationwide. Keller & Almassian serves as litigation counsel for Sunshine Heifers in Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts. (Sunshine Heifers, LLC v. Receivership: Keller & Almassian represents Amicus Management, Inc. in various receiverships throughout Michigan. Mike Almassian has appeared as Receiver's counsel in approximately 100 receivership actions throughout the State of Michigan.
Bankruptcy Litigation: Mike has defended a $13 million fraudulent conveyance and conversion adversary proceeding as well as competing collateral priority suits. (Chapter 7 Trustee v. King Par, LLC, et al. a United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Michigan Case No. 11-80397-swd; In Re Purdy, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Kentucky Case No: 12-11592). Mike has also successfully represented various businesses and individuals in several bankruptcy preference avoidance claims and non-dischargeablity suits.
Personal Injury Claims: Mike represents individuals in various personal injury, wrongful death and auto negligence claims. He has obtained over $1,250,000.00 in recoveries for his clients.
